Al Mohandes International was founded in 1983 with a single conviction: that every facility — hospital, factory, farm, telecom site — deserves power that never quits.
Today AMi designs, assembles, and supports diesel generator sets from 9 to 3000 kVA, powered by world-class engines: Perkins, Mitsubishi, Volvo, Hyundai, Cummins. Our plant in 6th of October City serves customers across the Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
The mission hasn't changed. Build the most reliable generator on the spec sheet, and back it with service that lasts as long as the steel.

Founded — Founded as a local generator service provider

First Step — Imported complete generating sets
1987
Seeking Improvement — Opened first panel building facility
1989
Development — Awarded key project: Supplying and installing 275 generator sets in every telecom enhancement
1991
Trust — Awarded NEWAGE International distributorship
1993
Growth — Inaugurated first metal processing facility
1995
— — Acquired UK company: Stamford Power Systems (SPS)
1996
Rise to Power — Opened first generator set building facility, up to 500 kVA
1998
Export — Started exporting activity and opened Iraq branch

Expansion — Opened second generator set building facility for sets between 500 kVA and 3000 kVA, low and medium voltage

Regional Expansion — Opened Yemen branch

Branching Out — Awarded ABB authorized panel builder accreditation

Growth — Acquired a new production facility in the UK

Branching Out — Awarded Doosan Engines distributorship

Adventure — First export contract awarded from Japan for rental purposes
